CubbyGaga 2,284 Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 Took an edible and I got to thinking… the reason Gaga is putting so much more passion into Haus Labs and her philanthropic pharmaceutical werk than her music career… maybe haus labs is the only way she can feel creative and in control. Think about it. None of her recent eras have gone the way she planned them. That paired with the way she’s talked about never letting others control her art / saying she’d be indie if she had to (2015 V Magazine) doesn’t leave much to the imagination regarding who’s really in charge of making these scrapping decisions Let’s be honest, Gaga’s not really one for making and following her promises when it comes to artistic ventures. Tyler1992 2,152 Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 -I don’t think Gaga feels pressured by the thumb of Interscope, if that were the case we would probably see a much more cut and dry pop career, and not re-signing her contract. -I think exploring different ventures was always inevitable for her. She’s never stated she’s only wanted to do pop music, and she is ambitious enough to entertain her creativity and drive. Creating a well rounded life of work, philanthropy, hobby is her way of being fulfilled as human. -There are so many ideas we don’t know about, things she could hold for the future, rework, try again later, or scrap completely. “I was going to do a surprise Coachella” hurts us because we aren’t in the know. (God bless your reasonable self) There are 1000 reasons why projects in music can fall through or change that have 0 to do with her actual intent, with this she has a stable, controllable creative outlet that in itself HAS an appriciation, a following and a hell of a lot of profit. i'm just glad that unlike Rihanna, she hasnt just set her eyes on that profit margin and ease (compared to pop star life strife) which she easily could. IDK if we'd be having more movies/albums if it weren't for HL but I don't think it consumes that much energy on her behalf. Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something? I doubt the label is forcing Gaga to scrap as much **** as she does.
