The only legitimate criticism (that isn't just a simple policy disagreement) that I've seen is his handling of Israel's genocide. And even then, he's trying. It's not enough but anyone who thinks any other US politician would do better is a fool

His age is a problem.  I don't believe the doctor who says he is not experiencing cognitive decline.  And even if it's not due to his age, his gaffs and mistakes really bother me. 

Kamala Harris.  While I would love to see a woman or LGBTQ+ person as president, Kamala isn't it, imo.

I do not think America should have open borders.  While congress has recently kept Biden from doing something about it, he has had three years to help the situation, but instead he has made things worse.

His response to the Israel/Palestine problem was too weak and too late.

Also, while not his fault, perceived problems are real problems to gaining public support.  While the core cost of living has dropped, the basic human necessities are still sky high; food and shelter.  Biden could gain some support if the cost of those things drops significantly.

Did you watch his SOTU address? Dude's had lifelong speech issues and yeah, I'm sure his age contributes significantly to him slowing down, but he doesn't give "dementia" or "senile" to me

You make some good points.

I'm still not convinced Biden's age isn't a problem.  I think he has his good days and his bad days cognitively.  But that may be just perception.  Because "perception is everything" democrats made a big mistake making him their candidate.  Not just because of age, but the perception he is to blame for the cost of food and housing, and for other things.  You have to be electable to get elected.  A younger person who cannot be held accountable for all those perception things would have been a better choice.

Thousands of people crossing the border illegally sounds like open borders to me.  What needs to be fixed is people need to be able to apply for asylum and cross the border legally.  I certainly support asylum seekers but want the process to be done legally.   Perhaps the solution is to make it possible to handle many more asylum seekers at the official border crossings.

I'll reserve my vote decision until close to the election, but I certainly will not vote for Trump.

Look, I'm not American, I don't have a vote, but I have some advice for anyone who does have a vote. Vote for Biden.

If Trump wins, imo you will effectively lose your right to vote, and if that happens then it won't matter what you think about Gaza, Ukraine, NATO, gay rights, abortion, immigration, any issue.  It won't happen overnight, but in ten years time maga could have such a grip on the US that the only way to break it will be through violence. Trump will probably be gone by then, but it isn't just about him, it is about the army of people behind him who want to impose their values and their rules on everyone. These people are not maga morons in red hats. They are intelligent and capable and their intentions are bad.

I disagree because it was clear the lesser of two evils was not Trump. Not lesser, but a brand of evil a certain demographic likes. I agree with what you say about Trump.  But I saw so much hate for Hillary, such as people ready to leave the country and give up their citizenship if she were elected.  I think this hatred made her the most evil of the two among many voters.  I guess it depends on where you stand and who you talk to in order to judge who was considered the lesser of two evils. 

Anyway today's situation is totally different, because both candidate's politics and policies are very well known.  I agree that Trump must not be elected.
