As much as she deserved it, I was scared this was going to turn into another case of someone winning and then never getting another big role again. Hopefully she'll be getting plenty of chances at winning in the near future. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

MelbHawker 6,583
Fab show. So glad Cillian & Oppenheimer swept - what a film. I was a little sad for Lily Gladstone though.. she could not have turned in a more divine performance in KOTFM if she tried. Emma Stone was also divine though, so I’m so happy for her. 2 BA Oscars at her age is unbelievable.
Spartacus 4,485
Lily was robbed (imo which I'm entitled to). Judging by the majority of the other award shows, this was clearly Lily's award to lose. Not that I'm shocked. It's extremely rare that they give a female of color the top award let alone two years in a row. -𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐌𝐀™

And hence, her shout out to her at acceptance speech. It's giving Adele sharing her Oscars win to the snubbed Yoncé for Lemonade. Frankenztein 1,172
Poor Things was an entertaining watch, but Lily Gladstone's performance carried more weight. What she did only with her eyes was incredible. Emma's performance was good, but I think this is an example of the Oscars awarding more exaggerated acting over a greater performance that was more subtle. You’re right. Although I really loved Emma stone, there’s nothing histrionic in Gladstone’s character so fortunately she gave us instead a placid , serene interpretation , the yang to the ying the same I could say about Mulligan. Oriane 20,918
Boring that Oppenheimer won everything, but I'm glad that Anatomy of a Fall won Best Original Screenplay, out of all the awards it's the one it deserved the most.
