I'm surprised he knows how to use Snapchat. Then again he is the queen of filters and facepaint.

Sadly it won’t matter. We’re at a point where lines are drawn and they won’t truly listen. I do think that was very strong. A few hiccups (as to be expected) but I was genuinely surprised. Sad a strong younger dem couldn’t come forth in the 4 years but we will see.

You can’t reason with cult members. This election is now about motivating the Democratic base, reminding independents that Trump is an insurrectionist, and persuading the Never Trump republicans to vote Biden/vote third party/stay home

Natalia Kills

He’s got my vote. I was going to vote Haley and was concerned but if he can hang on and repeat this then that’s good.

It is good to see the democrats moving away from obscure topics and trying to focus on areas that bother Americans. Israel and Palestine was handled pretty perfectly, Ukraine got the call out it deserves and the right issues.

The border issue is only the weak point in my view. His mention of the blocked bill is much better than before but still not likely to make someone who sees that as an issue vote for him. I think he felt like he appeared too right of center with the bit about the border bill and then tried to overcompensate by going into fluff about immigrant identity.

Loved the part about prescription drugs and shrinkflation too. This stuff arguably matters more to everyday lives of people than topics like Gaza, oil/clean energy and “election fraud” do.

Eh, the survival of the human race (clean energy) matters more long term than shrinkflation, but I agree that it’s important to thread the needle between kitchen table items and big ticket issues
