The tallest coaster in the UK just got topped off today 

 

Idk if there's any UK theme park enthusiasts here but this is MAJOR 

Toting a German, UK & Thorpe Park flag the tallest (topping Blackpool's slightly exaggerated height record) and fastest UK coaster is here and looking insane

 

(yes SAW: the ride is the lil thing on the left at only 100ft)

Looks awesome. That initial drop, when your organs are weightless, is the best part of a coast........ but the slow climb that precedes it? Unbearable. One time I fainted during a climb at 6 flags and it was truly horrific

edit- it was Raging Bull, but I was too young lol

So excited for hyperia, it’s been 12 years since swarm opened! So excited for the lapbars too, the airtime is gonna be insane especially on the outer bank 
 

also planning on visiting Alton towers around the 18th-19th for nemesis reborn

I’ve still never been to Drayton! Thorpe has always been my local as it’s only about 25 min or so away but since being at uni in Sheffield I’m closer to Alton so make sure to go every opening week of the year

Tbh the sensation is not only about the height, there are other things like how steep it is, or the mechanism that is used. I tried the Silver Star in Europa Park, and I haven't found it as impressive as some wooden coasters.
