Biden still hasn't sent a single U.S tax dollar to Israel. What he did approve and send are arms sales packages, which were paid for by Israel. That isn't American tax dollars. The aid package which includes aid to Israel and Gaza is still stuck in Congress. And for those aid packages all I've seen so far is money for the Iron Dome and the Iron Beam which are air defenses (not offensive weapons). So much misinformation on this topic. And it's sad to see. Thank you for clearing this up. So many single issue voters are going to make the upcoming election a nightmare, so the spread of real information like this is an absolute necessity. he/him/his

"If US aid is compared only to the estimate of direct military costs of the war, it would amount to more than half of relevant expenditures. No estimate made in the midst of an ongoing conflict will be entirely accurate, but what we do know suggests that US tax dollars are a major factor in sustaining the Israeli war effort. ... [M]uch of the investment needed to develop Israel’s arms industry has come via US aid programs. Unlike other US arms recipients, for many years Israel was permitted to plow one-quarter of the military aid supplied by Washington into the development of its own arms industry." https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/us-aid-israel-gaza/ https://uscpr.org/activist-resource/us-military-funding-to-israel-map/

And one-quarter is a highly exaggerated number. U.S military budget is 800B$. "A rough sense of the overall importance of US aid to the Israeli war effort can be developed by comparing the $14 billion in military aid proposed by the Biden administration with an estimate by the Israeli financial newspaper Calcalist" This bill they're refering to, is the National Security bill which is NOT EVEN approved yet. And it pertains to air defenses (Iron Dome, Iron Beam) etc.. Sadly on this topic, many leftist outlets are engaging in pure propaganda and lies, which are literally backfiring on us. And back to this topic, since the start of the Gaza war, 0 American tax payer dollars went to Israel. That's a fact, and let's just not deny the truth.
