Interesting. I personally never had an issue with her doing Nurtec campaigns because I know she has struggled with debilitating migraines for years and there are very little options for treatments, and if she finds that it helps, she would be a perfect and genuine spokesperson to showcase its efficacy. Sometimes prescription drugs are the only solution for certain conditions and I always found it unfortunate that people don’t understand that and categorize every pharmaceutical drug as poison or an absolute danger. Yes, big pharma is evil and corrupt beyond measure, but modern pharmaceuticals can also provide relief and treatment for millions of people that would otherwise be chronically suffering from a wide range of medical conditions.

That said, I don’t know much about this venture specifically, but I trust Gaga. If she pursues something like this, it is because she believes there is a greater good behind it. She’s been working so hard for her entire life and she has every right to live her personal life however she wants. Curious to see what her and Michael do moving forward together

That would be true in places as Europe, but in US, it's just for rich people: those drugs are expensive as hell, afaik (but I'd love to be wrong).

I live in the US, and yes, our healthcare system is broken and big pharmaceutical + insurance companies work together to drive prices to levels that we cannot afford. My mother and I have been in that exact situation of not being able to afford medication and it is a real issue. But it does not negate efficacy of the medications. Gaga cannot single-handedly fix the healthcare/insurance issue the US faces. Although a lot of Americans do not have insurance, a lot also do—and not just the wealthy. I am the exact opposite of wealthy, and I am fortunate to have affordable insurance through my employer that allows me to buy my medication at a very reasonable price. When I was uninsured for some months, it was 100% unaffordable and that is a critical issue—but it is a separate issue. Many non-wealthy Americans are able to afford medication through insurance or assistance programs, so they would have access to Nurtec at more affordable prices if their insurance covers it. Yes, millions of Americans also could never afford insurance, but it is not to say that many non-wealthy Americans cannot afford medication at all. So Gaga promoting Nurtec is absolutely not her promoting a medication that only wealthy people have access to.
