How can that happen? She is no 1 on top album sales chart

Because she belongs to the 2010s. No hate or anything I like JLo and her old songs but its true :(

I’m pretty sure they’re saying that #1-37 sold less pure units yet she debuted so low even with selling the most physical albums this week. Shows you how streaming weighs so heavily in the end, when Drake can sell only 62 albums this week and still be top 10. Also can be easily manipulated but Billboard doesn’t seem to care.

Yeah right....

If you dont care about charts then why quote me in the first place? my post was clearly about people who are putting her down because of poor sales.

I was responding to the part of your comment that said shes not charting because everyone in her generation is not charting. You were trying to make it sound like shes not charting because shes not a new artist. I disagreed with that by showing how many of her peers are still successful, and the ones that dont are atleast releasing good music.

Jennifer is still extremely popular, and has alot of advantages in her favor, and has alot of potential to be as successful as Beyonce. But every time she releases music the past 15 years, its bad!

Im still a fan of her because I enjoy good performers, and shes one of the best performers ever.

Mister G

I listened to this album in its entirety. Gave it a few tries. It didn't do anything for me unfortunately and I've been a hug fan of hers since she started acting in movies in the mid 90's. I just couldn't find any connection to this era, but if there are folks who enjoy it then that's great. Either way, she still looks stunning.

my original post was on the point that people shouldn't be so hard on J.Los sales because artists of her generation find it hard to secure a spot in today's commercial market. I don't know what part of this got lost in translation because this argumentative energy is unwarranted. Like iv pointed out, all here peers including Beyonce have had moments of abysmally plummeting sales,

And I'm not buying that you're jlo fan so stop repeating it in every post cuz its redundant anyway. even I who is just a casual listener cannot boldly say everything she's released since 2015 is bad much less anyone who calls themselves a fan.

I wasn’t expecting such a low chart debut. With so many CD and Vinyl variants she didn’t even managed to sell at least 20.000 pure copies. The demand is very very low and the album don’t help itself. The music is no good, I only liked Rebound and Can’t Get Enough (I hated that song at first but listening to the other stuff got me liking this). Her music career is kinda dead right now. Mariah with no new album since 2018 has more daily streams than Jlo, who is everywhere promoting her album, her film and herself. I’m mentioning Mariah because they have the same age and she is already mentioned here. Even Madonna who is really hated by the general public has more demand for new music.

Jennifer has made a lot of mistakes in her music career. After TIMT, everything has been a flop. Rebirth underperformed, Como Ama Una Mujer flopped, Brave mega-flopped, Love? (The album) flopped, AKA flopped. She cancelled two singles before On The Floor (Fresh Out The Oven and Louboutins) because they flopped, she didn’t include Live It Up in AKA because she wanted a bigger hit like OTF in the album, she didn’t manage to have one.

Don’t forget Jennifer wanted Good Hit over On The Floor for Love’s lead single, I Luh Ya Papi over First Love for AKA, Hold You Down as the second single of Rebirth over Whatever You Wanna Do or Step Into My World. Her best songs are left rotting over mediocre music. She’s the best example of bad choices.

When we're not together tell me everything's gonna be alright
