Love for sale doesn’t interest me at all. And I love Cole porter. man’s the fact that so many don’t feel the connection for both the same degree really should make many ponder when they talk oooh a cover album. Turns out, there’s a clear difference. You might not know what but it’s there. for me c2c has some fillers that I don’t care for. I for one think that gaga could have done something even better with those songs. Cause she isn’t a jazz singer and the gal/sophisticated lady act gets old fast. these were songs written almost all for theatre. The next step could have been returning some of the drama in the intention. Even more like a singer actress. She’s too worried about being capable of singing and belting it out. Or give the airy voice, something more personal. Like she made with lush life in a way. In a way Tony is very good but he’s flat as a performer, he simply is very musical and elegant and has a fantastic voice. Gaga being the more rough counterpart like she was in lady in the tramp… would have been really the next level
SevenWonder 3,800
I've always said ARTPOP. But lately I've had a change of heart: It's BTW.
