Basically every ballad/acoustic number on the Celebration Tour. Never seen her deliver such raw emotion as she does for Live to Tell/Mother & Father/I Will Survive & Rain on this tour. I refuse to shut up about the Live to Tell/Crisis of Faith/Like A Prayer sequence.

Yes it was the Drowned World Tour.

I want to make it clear I am not the Madonna expert of GGD.  There are others on GGD who are.  In fact, I failed miserably when I represented Madonna in the Artist Arena contest in 2019.  Others would have done better.

I do have an interesting story, though.  My ophthalmologist was a friend of Madonna's uncle. Before Madonna was known as an artist she moved to NYC to study dance and was staying at her uncle's house.  While my ophthalmologist was visiting the uncle, Madonna came into the room.  Her uncle introduced them, and they had a nice chat.  Madonna mentioned she was not doing very well in dance class!  After my ophthalmologist told me that story, I showed him some videos of Madonna slaying at dancing.

I was born in 1990 and I vividly remember all of her 90s/00s hits (I’ll Remember, Take A Bow, Secret, Ray Of Light, Beautiful Stranger, Vogue, Music, Don’t Tell Me, Hung Up, Die Another Day) being all over the radio. Her star power was unmatched. There will only ever be one Madonna.

Every Live to Tell performance is iconic tbf. She brings it out once a decade and never misses lol
