hollywood friends are rarely real friends  but yeah a little rude considering Gaga did influence the current version of ASIB Bradley released to rave reviews and made his film Oscar-winning via the sountrack which also coincidentally relied on Gaga's talent.

- we have known for a long time that Beyoncé was the original female lead (even before Bradley)
- Bradley is apparently on "Maestro" Oscars press tour, although this story is starting to resemble Gaga's "99 people don't believe you" stuff
- I am afraid "Maestro" won't win an Oscar, and Bradley personally has no chance

Gaga always speaks about how validating it felt to be chosen by him for the role which he always used to concur but recently he makes it appear like she was just another name on the list iconic singers he wanted to cast. Which in reality, is how casting works but it's definitely off putting to hear repeatedly. Like what does this info have to do with anything?

We did. Originally even bradley wasnt supposed to direct or star in it. 
But lately he has been saying this alot that he tried to get adele first and beyonce. Last week he kept talking about adele. Now beyonce. He is doing this to make headlines so voters might consider him (academy voting starts tomorrow)

Not to be shady (actually I guess it is a little shady ) but I also find it very convenient that he seems to be talking about Gaga's ASIB non-stop to remind the industry how big of a splash he made with the movie... thanks to Gaga, now that he's nominated for another Oscar (that he's going to lose)

It's possible that Gaga wasn't known for singing ballads. And he only knew about it when he attended a charity event where she sang Jazz and ballads?

So yeah to be fair Gaga is known for Poker Face, Bad Romance etc... It's not unexpected that she wouldn't be his first choice.

Which makes him bringing up Beyonce even more of a slap in the face to Gaga. The movie was performed live because of Gaga, the soundtrack is as fantastic as it is because of Gaga, it got so much press because of Gaga, not to mention her other contributions such as the Joanne WT stage.
