The Weeknd's pass skin is his 2020 After Hours look anyway. I don't think a concert was ever supposed to happen. Only skins to promote her with the younger gen. Time went on and they had to keep moving. They had a lot of Fortnite events in 2020, so they wouldn’t be able to postpone everything just because Gaga wasn’t ready. Im sure Gaga’s team and Epic have been talking about renegotiating this deal for years. I assume she had the deal negotiated in 2019 to promote the album, skins all made and ready to go etc, and then covid happened. We know she put her career and album promo on hold during covid, then it would have been too late to do it, so they either canned the idea and decided to dig it up now, or negotiated to put it off until her next album cycle after Chromatica. She made that "what's fortnight" tweet back in 2019 so I assume she was teasing/setting up her joke (Fortnite) back then when the deal was sealed Either way can we just focus on the fact that she's starting up promo and posting studio pics so something is definitely cooking right now!
