Honestly, if she’s earnestly inspired then yay. Both Joanne and chromatica were like f*ck I don’t wanna be doing this anymore and I need the producer to convince me hahaha and I think it wound up being evident in the music. On the flip, when she’s excited, the music slaps

Even if the pictures are recent, I don't think that negates the idea that the album could be coming soon. Making an album isn't a linear process: different songs finish at different times. Even if she's recording stuff now, that doesn't mean that she can't have like 90% of the album that's almost complete. 

The fact that she's been posting so much about LG7 recently (7 posts in under a week!), to me, means that something is coming soon. If she wanted to make the album in peace without letting us know, she easily could. But she's actively communicating with us that she's working on something and the fact that she's posted about it so much leads me to think something is coming sooner rather than later. 

We also know she's been in the studio since November (https://www.instagram.com/p/CzroxvduFbw/), so I doubt that she's in the beginning stages rn.
