LeafBug 7,145
She will always have dedicated fans regardless of how well she does mainstream. I’m glad she’s crossed that border. Acting ensures her future in show business if music no longer works out. Edited February 13 by Roronoa

All signs suggest that she's not ready to release LG7 yet. "Locked in a vault/potions take time/tik tok tik tok", and with the first half of the year dominated by the other pop girls. I think that the recent teasing on insta and tiktok was more about confirming it's existence and hinting that it's coming this year. I think let Ari, Bey etc release their albums first, then go for a summer release. That'll be perfect imo. There's still plenty of time. No we don’t want a summer release. Cuz we’ve been waiting for 4 years for new content. Releasing in summer means an even shorter era, then joker promo. Do we need that? HELL NO 1

Brizel 593
I agree with the original post. But she did warn us in the song 911 her biggest enemy is her. Taylor is releasing albums all the time, beyonce, Lana , Miley, multiple albums and she has waited over 4 years now (apart from the little tiny love for sale release) . It’s sad how many missed opportunities there has been to have further success in music.

I guess my reasons are selfish because us fans care a lot more about this stuff than she does I think. For some reasons I felt the opposite, in the beginning of her career she was more fearless and do whatever she wants, but lately she seems to focus more on proving to people that she can sing. While I love her doing mature vocals and genres, I just miss her making fun pop music and don't care about the GP Hit me a message and say hi !

Like nah yall Beyoncé wants to not work on music for a few years so she bulk recorded Beyonce just likes finding ways to shock the GP in a way that doesn't necessarily involve elaborate outfits or stunts. Surprise album, surprise visual album during SB, now 3 part project. I don't think her wanting to not record for a while had anything to do with it. Plus she gets to ride the hype through Act III, with other projects in between. I'd almost wish Gaga would do the same but I don't see her ever committing that deeply to a large project. Dont get me wrong I really love them but in the core she IS a pop artist. and at this day and age 4 year gap between albums is simply career wrecking not because she's losing relevancy or anything but only because she's losing interest from the fans that supported her for years. Like I said before, her main focus isn't pop anymore it shouldn't be this hard to say "I want to be an actress and a businesswoman who wants to release a pop album whenever the hell I want it." The same fans that always run back the second there's any sort of rumor about new music, credible or not. Yes she's consistently killing the hype, but it always comes back. For example most topics on here were garnering like 4-5 pages at most through their "lifespans" and now we have a 100 page topic in just a weekish. She’s losing relevance each year passing. Solar Power had 50k units first week compared to Melodrama's 109k... also Stupid Love is Gaga's highest debut since EoG, so I wouldn't say she's losing relevancy at all. 23 hours ago, madmagical6 said: I agree with the comments saying "she moves at her own pace" and such, I think that's important for her or any artists for the matter but she will have deadlines to meet. The record label won't let her just pick and choose her own time when it suits her they very much run the show. I am surprised they in a way, allow her to go 3-4 years with no new material. It certainly is frustrating to see other fan bases have more material to digest but if it not finished it's not finished. I for one am not much interested in Taylor or Bey I'm just a casual listener. Gaga is in a 360, they're making plenty off of her other projects.

She obviously put her best face forward on stage and in the studio but what she dealt with alone must have been awful. The way she is now IS fearless because she isnt relying on something to put her on that stage or be creative anymore, but comparing it to her early career is just a bit thoughtless imo
