So vote, vote, vote! Trump only wins with a low turnout with lots of Dems and Independents staying home. 4 more years of Biden will be awful, but 4 more years of Trump will be absolutely destructive. Exactly! And as long as trump doesn’t win this year, he will hopefully no longer be “around” by the next election. And that’s me saying it nicely

Dennis 8,391
And all of this is because of the Border crisis, that republicans are exploiting and don't want to fix until the elections. I just wish that Biden was less naive about all of this from the start. He repealed many policies that he's now trying to restore. And now he's trying to push more restrictive measures that go farther than what he initially repealed. The flip-flopping is a mess. And ironically, the progressives he's been trying to appeal to when he reversed immigration policies are the ones who are now abandoning him in droves anyways People really underestimate the danger of a Trump presidency, or a MAGA presidency in general. These people couldn't care less for democracy or freedom.

Go Trumpie!" because I think he's an awful man that should be voted off the planet, and he stands for everything I am against. A lot of people feel this way and will not be voting for him. Red 99,631
Can’t someone explain me why is everyone so disappointed in Biden? I don’t really follow US politics that close (the politics in my own country are already soul draining enough ) If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. I don’t really follow US politics that close (the politics in my own country are already soul draining enough ) biden has done some good things: -more money for climate stuff than any president ever -he arguably helped the U.S. recover from the pandemic quicker and better than some other countries -lots of money for infrastructure, health care subsidies, etcetera. i pay $30 a month for healthcare instead of $300 thanks to laws he passed to cap obamacare costs at a certain percentage of your income -there is a lot more but i won’t write a novel however, a lot of his larger goals have been held back for various reasons. student debt cancellation is something a lot of particularly young voters care about, but the supreme court blocked his biggest attempt at addressing that. one could argue that things like that aren’t his fault, but i think people are just tired of hearing “X president actually really wanted to do X but they couldn’t bc of this technicality,” even if it’s largely true. i think a lot of gen z was still planning to vote for him up until when the israel and palestine conflict escalated. it feels like he pulled us out of one war (finally) just to get us involved in another. gen z has bailed out the dems in the last two elections and i think we’re / they’re just tired of seeing the government be unable to do X thing (while saying he wants to) bc of X technicality while always still finding money to send to israel / fund wars / etcetera. i do think it’s kinda silly that people might not vote bc of the last point though. trump is even more pro-israel than biden. and i say this as someone who believes that what is going on is a genocide and as someone who has always been pro-palestine and as someone who has been trying his hardest to boycott all the corporations giving money to israel. i would say the other main issue is that inflation is wild right now, while wages aren’t going up. even though this is a global problem, it’s hard for a lot of people (myself included) to not get frustrated at biden when he’s talking all the time about how good the economy is (and in some ways it is) while my groceries are becoming more and more unaffordable and incomes aren’t going up. i’m sure i’ll still vote in the end, but i’m not sure gen z will show up even close to as much as they did in 2020 and 2022
