Western politics is pushing back against progression a lot lately, and everyone has grass is greener syndrome sadly.

When America elected Biden they thought he would do much better than he has, and they think the same for Trump now.

Democrats should’ve been more vocal for a different candidate. The reason he scraped by in the last election is because of how extremely chaotic Trump became his last year of his presidency (not to discount his previous 3 ) and the undecided voters chose to take a chance on Biden. Biden has accomplished almost nothing during his presidency and let down his party multiple times with his decisions. He has been a pushover and has continued to attempt pleasing the Republican Party, which he will never do. 
 

Since we are on a Gaga forum, I wonder how much she will explicitly support Biden, or if she will just encourage to vote blue. Since it will coincide with Joker’s release, and allegedly the studio made Joaquin and Gaga agree to stay out of politics until after the film cycle, I’m curious to see how it will unfold for us.

idek why the democrats did not really challenge Biden running for a 2nd term. He should've been a one-time quick solution to Trump and never a long-term thing. He needed a better VP than Kamala and he needed to support that better VP for 2024.

It’s not COVID itself, it’s the inflation that came with the supply chain disruptions caused by COVID. It’s the housing crisis that was exacerbated by COVID because people from big expensive cities flooded into other areas of the country. Democrats never really chose to address any of these issues. The inflation reduction act was a disingenuous name because it had nothing to do with inflation. 
 

The middle eastern conflicts of the past could easily be overlooked by Americans historically, but not only did Biden fumble the pull out from Afghanistan (which was the first big hit to his approval rating), he is enabling a genocide currently. Although Americans tolerated the military spending to Ukraine, they cannot tolerate unlimited and unconditional money to Israel- especially young people who are not blind to the fact that Israel has a history of propping up Hamas in order to justify further settlement of Palestinian territory.

There’s a lot of people in here freaking out over close polls 10 months before the election. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be concerned, but polls have skewed right for nearly a decade here and the silent support behind Biden is stronger than most people realize. His small dollar donor metrics are phenomenal right now.

If you’re in the US, register to vote & volunteer with local and state campaigns. That’s what REALLY changes outcomes.

It isn’t exactly shocking to me as a Hispanic in the US to see him gaining support. 

Its the whole thing of the longer an immigrant lives in a country, the more they start seeing other immigrants as a threat to them and stop seeing themselves as "the immigrant" on the news.

Especially if you get to 3rd, 4th 5th gen folks who aren't immigrants but just grand children etc. 

The media is very good at convincing people the issue is new people coming in, rather than acknowledging that the Wasps are just racist and don't differentiate...
