His takes are always half-baked, he's a bigot in liberal clothing, and he's unfunny. You really gotta ask why in the era of Trump? A lot of Americans are racist or at the very least fall prey easily to reactionary propaganda. This **** is Republican-lite for libs.

River 117,429
imagine preaching about materialism in 2024, sounds like a deadass boomer "I can't help myself I'm addicted to the life of material" is THE BIBLE. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
Dancing Shadow 1,171
so having a company means your greedy now huh? "I hope that you will love me in this way For who I am—not then—but for today"

monketsharona 82,071
Multiply the deals with champaign, watches brands, Nurtec etc.., developping her make-up brand, having less and less music material writen, produced and released. She's the definition of materialism lately. No shade in it. But she's a business first of all.
Addison Rae 16,817
gaga nowadays might be a shameless capitalist but those songs on the fame were all written ironically/as commentary of consumerism + celebrity culture which was huge in the 2000s sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi

GAYHEMikey 8,094
What kind of songs do people expect on a record named "The Fame“? Nowadays we know our girl loves the bling. She’s a businesswoman NO DUCT TAPE - NO MISSON
Lady Rah Rah 2,000
In a way, I can see Gaga being businesswoman first, Artist second to ensure she has secured her coin for her future family (if she still wants to have children). I don’t see anything wrong with it, yes it’s sometimes disheartening to see Haus Labs releasing new products and no new music, but she’s only human. She will definitely release music again, that’s for sure, it’s just a matter of when not if. Plus I can see Gaga being the type of person to leave a lot of money to charity in her will (okay now I feel sad thinking about that.) Chromatica will live on forever. Dancing Shadow 1,171
having a lot of money doesnt mean someone is materialistic imo... what makes someone materialistic is how much value they place on the money they have and how they treat others who dont have as much money "I hope that you will love me in this way For who I am—not then—but for today"
