I was going through a really deep depression and listening to darker music a lot at the time Rain On Me dropped and I really didn't like it then I got sad because I really didn't like the new Gaga song and I must be losing my stanship and blah blah blah. I remember just spiralling about it... wow wtf was I going through back then? I literally don't remember, but I guess I wasn't in the right headspace for upbeat pop music. That is so weird.
