The wildfires are getting closer to her home. It would be incredibly tone deaf to announce anything today, not to mention she may be evacuating her house...some of yall are wild

I am sorry, but I have to ask: Are you absolutely tone deaf? Have you seen how the Palisades fire has destroyed over 1000 structures, and Santa Monica is on evacuation notice? There are other giant fires breaking out, and there are more important things in the world than an album. I myself have already had to pack my luggage since my area is being recommended to evacuate. My best friend had to evacuate in the middle of the night due to a fire breaking out that is now at 700 acres with no containment. There is a fire on the other side near Pasadena at 10,000 acres. The Palisades fire is at almost 12,000 acres, and NONE of these have been able to be contained due to wind gusts that have reached a peak of 100 mph. Gaga had to most likely evacuate herself as many others in the nearby areas. LA is covered in smoke. People have lost their homes, had to abandon their cars on the highway due to a literal firestorm that is occurring. AND you are a community member? Don't make me laugh! Before making a comment like that, you should look into the matter more. If you don't care about the fires, at least have some compassion for the people who are losing everything.

I posted the damn map showing the fires and how close they are to her home, yet, some people are still complaining about no announcement.  50 miles isn't that much when winds can change in an instant.

 

Her malibu home is everything to her, have some empathy PLEASE.

I feel like some of y'all are conflating your own delusions.

First of all, no one here doesn't have empathy for what's going on in California. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we hope that Gaga and everyone affected there is safe. The issue is not the lack of empathy.

Y'all are assuming she's delaying an announcement because of the fires, when we don't even know if she was going to announce anything in the first place. There's no reason to think that anything's been delayed when we haven't heard an inkling from anyone—Gaga herself, much less our regular "insiders"—that we were supposed to get something in the first place. 

If she doesn't announce anything this week, it's not going to be because of the fires. It'll be because she & her team had a plan in mind and y'all are just too impatient to wait.
