But Gaga herself said the video was made out of BTS footage shot during the BTWB, so what’s the truth?

Wouldn't past her team to mock up one or use an edited picture as a placeholder, I think by now she's used to us little monstrosities digging around in source codes etc so she might come prepared

You really think they would photoshop a 12 year old photo as a placeholder on her wesite. And it is clearly her more recent face (especially the lips)

Like tell me what actual benefit would come from delaying the album for another 2/3 months? What would she gain, other than thoroughly p*ssing off her fanbase? She said February, so February it is. Ppl thought Disease was gonna be delayed to even though she said October and look how that played out. Stop.

 

Unless Interscope puts out a press release it means nothing though, Gaga doesn’t actually get any say in her release window lol Interscope plans it out so major selling artist’s releases don’t overlap. Interscope has Kendrick doing the Super Bowl with a new album and a Weeknd album coming so I doubt they’d make her compete with them.

Even in her contract from 2020 it states they have 365 days to release a fully completed album else she can use it as a clause to leave the record label. So she has upto 1 year from the exact date she sent them a finalised album (not including mastering) for them to release it at their discretion.

Plus yeah back in that time (August and October 2024) they might have gave her a window expecting that Joker 2 and Disease would do well. But they could’ve easily had a meeting before Xmas reassessing and telling her they’ve changed the release window so she can sell better and can shake off the negative press since Joker will be getting lashings until after the Oscars.

Im not saying it isn’t coming in February but it also makes sense to not come till late spring now that she has upcoming events in other countries and needs to rehearse for them.

There was a BTS documentary made showing the making of the video, like the shot of Terry taking pictures of her twirling around in the paper dress. Plus TMZ never once said about any BTS footage of her tour in their description. Their description was quite clearly very much over exaggerated even by Gaga’s standards. Like who genuinely believes that she gets SA’d and wakes up pregnant as part of the video. Which was the big part of their description of it.

Waiiit, I thought the “you’ll wake up pregnant” had leaked  Their leak did have BTS footage from the BTWB though, but maybe you’re right and it’s from the documentary video you’re talking about

Y'all...it's not releasing in April

The code on her website says "Releases on 2.13.2025." And even if that date is incorrect like TMZ says, why would that still be on her website if it wasn't releasing—at the very least—close to that date? She wouldn't have a specific date like that, only to release it two months later. 

She said February and until we get other official information, it's still February. Istg y'all just want to exist in this state of perpetual pessimism  First it was "She's gonna delay Disease because of Joker," then it was "She's not saying anything, so that means the album is delayed," now it's "We have a countdown, but it's not for February anymore. It's for April"
