So I’ve been listening to Prince and been thinking about Lady Gaga’s rumored song "Girlfriend for the Weekend" and that in some way maybe it is connected to Prince’s "Purple Rain." The line from his song "I never wanted to be your weekend lover" and the title of Gags song feels like a direct nod to Prince. But even if there's no surprise he never mentionned work with Gaga on new album which 100% confirms everyone is under NDA and won't reveal anything until it's out.
