Climate change is critical, but it doesnt change the fact that strategies like this just turn ppl off. U wont gain sympathy to a cause pulling stunts like this. Ppl just take them less seriously

Indifference is still preferable to being turned off or irritated. Someone who is indifferent still has a better shot at being won over eventually.

 

At least more and more ppl have taken it seriously over time (the younger generations view on the issue vs older ppl is an attestment to that) even if it is much slower than it should be

 

But once u turn ppl off of something its much harder to ever win them over again

 

One strategy not working as well as ud like is hardly evidence to pursue another strategy that clearly works even worse

That actually makes sense and I would NOT put it past them to do this. That actually makes more sense than the original story of two protestors doing this
