when I was at school, the other boys in my class said I was strange because I had not been drunk at the age of 13. And we were 13.

background info: alcohol was not allowed until 16 and hard alcohol not until 18.

Nevertheless most boys were drunk at 13

They will find a way circumventing it

they will make friends with more older teens and buy their phones

and magic Tiktok filters will make them look like 18 even if they are 50 or 13...

In the past to be on social media you had to be 13 or 14 which I think is fair. I kinda agree that social media is having many toxic effects on kids but i feel like age 16 is unrealistically harsh and would never be accepted

They are using telegram and whatsapp anyway.. these politicians thinks that kids are stupid, like they thought that we were stupid, but we always found a workaround and a loophole in their system.

The rule itself will make kids double down on their use of social media.  One way to get kids to do something is to tell them that they can't.  That's in their DNA.  Literally.
