StrawberryBlond 14,198
I know people throw around words like "unhinged," "deranged" and "insane" far too easily but there is no other words for this episode that Nicki's currently on. And I mean that in all seriousness. She needs medical intervention at this point and it is telling that this isn't happening. Has she got family and friends who are concerned for her and are having meetings behind the scenes right now? Because if anyone I knew was acting like this, they'd be appropriately cared for in 24 hours, 48 at most. I'm worried about the safety of her child having 2 unstable parents. Her song is just the ramblings of an unwell person. Her final words with no beat at the end give me literal chills. It sounds like something you hear murderers say in voice mails. It's beyond me how anyone's finding any humour in this, it's downright disturbing and if she weren't a celebrity acting like this, she'd be treated very differently. How did her label let this leave the studio? How can a label not control an artist when they lose it like this? No publicity stunt would go this far. Regardless of what you think of her, Nicki would've gone down as one of the respected greats for her rap ability if nothing else. But she chose to be the world's biggest pick me by being prepared to throw away everything for a convicted sex offender. I've seen the commercial downfall of female rappers but this is the first time I've seen the personal downfall of one brought upon by herself. I had a bad feeling about Nicki from the start, she had far too much ego and came straight out the gate dissing Lil Kim and these traits spell trouble for debut artists. And I watched her fame grow, wondering why no one else could see her attitude problem. Now we're seeing the fallout of making someone like this successful. But even I didn't think it would get this bad.
