let's not lie. She's way behind her peers for the past few years, not as relevant as she was before, and releasing a different version of your album every 3 weeks also doesnt help, it makes her look desperate. Doja Cat has been putting up HUUUGE streaming numbers & is doing really really well. I love love love her.

Nicki having a #1 album with multiple viral songs at once (I can’t scroll on TikTok without hearing FTCU or Everybody) 15+ YEARS into her career is astonishing.

I think people have a bad habit of cherry-picking Nicki’s career and only looking at present day, meanwhile, she’s been RUNNING the rap game for FIFTEEN YEARS. A female rap career with her longevity has never been seen. EVER. 

I think she’s tense bc she has to constantly remind people of her legacy bc people love to minimize it & attack it every chance they get.
