Christmas kinda came early this year with ARTPOP10th (Fan Leaker's Versions) back in November to be honest (thank you leakers whoever you are) That being said, yes, I do remember when we used to get things for Christmas ! 2010 and 2011 were the best years I've ever seen Christmas be on GGD. Technically Gaga gave us Stuck on F*cking You as a song on Christmas Day 2012. We have been waiting for something like that to happen again for a very long time now. Fans took it upon themselves to do group buys, private buys, and other grey area / quasi legal / straight up illegal sh*t / bad things / good things over time to make up for it. I used to host "audio potlucks" back in the day asking leakers to donate stuff to me anonymously that I used to put In a fanmade gagadaily media section advent calendar. Usually little things like photos from photoshoots, snippets of unreleased, instrumentals and such. Over time I made it more about the overall Gaga experience than exclusively unreleased material, as leaking things straight out on gagadaily itself could have put the entire site we love so much in jeopardy. It took me a long time to understand that. And to learn to respect it and not be a scofflaw. Now a days that stuff still exists but is exceedingly rare and hard to come by. I don't have the money sources personally anymore sadly to really run with the big dogs and net something amazing as once was done in the old days. But thankfully there are others out there who do pick up the slack. I'll never know who leaked stuff back in November for ARTPOP 10th Anniversary but the fact they did means they were creative enough to find a way to fill the void for the fandom in ways her team couldn't. I know for concrete fact that efforts were made to make an ARTPOP 10th commemorative release happen, but the label was not responsive to the efforts and pleas. And like DJWS said a while back, it's the perfect coordination of 20 separate parties to agree on 1 thing all at once. Imagine having an orgy with 20 people and magically aligning everyone's orgasm to occur at exactly the same time. It's nearly impossible to achieve such a thing. That's how exquisitely timed this had to be. So props to the leakers. You fed us when Mama Monster couldn't. Just don't leak it here please or the site could be at risk :deadbanana:.
