Gaga create trends/predicts future, people copy (Nicki???)

Is it me or is Gaga always trailblazing and setting the trend unknowingly for the industry???? 

First with The Fame/Fame monster/BTW that made everyone wanna be dark edgy and high fashion afterwards, then glossy pop EDM after ARTPOP,

then with Joanne and every artist somehow releasing stripped down / personal albums...

ASIB - now every pop girl wants to be a movie star...(Jlo, Nicki, now Megan the Stallion)

now with Chromatica visuals, people following close after that chrome aesthetic ...like Beyonce In the Renaissance era, now Nicki Minaj in her Pink Friday 2....

What's going on! It would be fun if you guys can post more references of people following Gaga's trends over the years so I know I'm not crazy...

There’s an actual explanation: she had the same graphic designers, same 3D artist, same team... so there IS a similarity between their merch design and visuals - especially the zine/tour book.

Merch by studiopending + the 3D renders of Frederik Heyman, no wonder the art direction looks similar

Beyoncé’s #RENAISSANCEtour merch was designed by the same team that did the Chromatica album and tour visuals

I'll give you everyone playing catchup from 2009 to 2012, she literally changed pop culture, and then the big influx of "country"/stripped back albums after 2016 but EDM was already a popular genre by the time ARTPOP came out and pop stars have been doing movies for decades (especially J Lo lol)

She is a trend setter in fashion and visuals for sure, but she has not set any trends in music since Born This Way.

I think the industry keeps a close eye on Gaga however it's hard to definitely tell who she has influenced in their art. 

I think Gaga's art is interesting, does anyone think global warming is a good thing?

It's a particular aesthetic that's now been overused by Nicki, Slayyyter, and a plethora of artists jumping on the Y2K and/or hyperpop trend. But when Charli actually shot this for her album back in 2017 it wasn't being done by anyone else.

Yes to TF/TFM, Joanne influence, no to ARTPOP and ASIB. 

The Rennaissance thing was already debunked, we could also say she has copied Kylie 

The robot outfit as seen here and in Paparazzi are inspired by the Metropolis movie. Madonna has used this movie’s imagery too. Gaga/Beyonce didn’t steal Metropolis nor Greek mythology from Kylie, it’s just another piece of art their teams were inspired by.

Yo this was my tweet hahaha yes I still think it was the graphic designers who was at "fault". I don't think a "copying" was achieved cause I'm sure someone as smart as Beyonce would notice that.
