Riley 1,306 Posted November 29, 2023 Share Posted November 29, 2023 don't understand why this is becoming a trend... like just release the full "extended" song to begin with?? or the "shortened version" was obviously cut down for a purpose (i.e. time, flow, quality of "extra" verses, etc.) so why then revert back to the version you cut things out from? Mainly because today record labels want shorter songs (under 3 minutes) to get more plays on spotify and so you dont skip. But fans and the artist would love to have the full version available.
