If they all did that, we'd get so bored of seeing the same faces constantly. There's a rota and seasons for everything. I think she'd be worse off if she was everywhere everyday. She was suffering from overexposure terribly by 2011 and especially by 2013, which I think is part of the reason why AP was such a rough era for her. Yes, I know, not all artists suffer from the pitfalls of overexposure but Gaga is unfortunately one of them. Taking time out between eras was a great choice and ensured she was able to make people miss her and have a successful comeback with ASIB. Trust me, people will be happy to see her in the charts again soon enough because a select number of artists have been dominating the charts in her absence and they'll be glad to see a returning face who hasn't had a hit in 4+ years to shake things up a bit. And yes, I completely agree with others, 2015 was the most boring year. Not only was she not giving us anything but there was a big sense of foreboding for her future career at the time, there was the worry of if she could recover from AP and if the next album flops, her career could be over. But now, she's solidified and I don't have to worry, so no, this year's been a breeze in comparison. Remember that loads of artists give us literally NOTHING in between eras, they don't release stand-alone singles or soundtrack singles or have other side hustles like movies and make up lines. We really don't realise how lucky we are that Gaga is tuned in to modern ways of keeping fans updated by understanding social media, streaming, TikTok, etc. Some artists are still in the dark ages with that stuff.
