This is actually a very strong debut position for Dua, one of her highest yet I believe. As long as the song remains stable it will come roaring back once the holiday season is over. Her eras are designed to be slow burns that accumulate massive streaming numbers and chart longevity.

I do like it. it did a great job introducing FN. production wise tho Houdini sounds more interesting to me particularly.

I think for people who don’t really follow pop music and get to know new songs through radio, the instrumental and structure of the song are maybe a bit too out there. Not saying that is a bad thing though.

Yup. I don't remember Don't Start Now being super huge when it first came out but it was a grower.

And then subsequent singles kept the momentum rising for FN.

It's a good song, but I do find it quite flat. Like most of Dua's songs, I think it will be a grower and will stay on the charts for some time, but I don't think it will reach the highest of New Rules or Levitating.

Yeah I feel like she kinda fumbled the ball by choosing Houdini as the lead single. The song isn’t bad but it’s not that good either, if that makes sense? I was expecting something A LOT better from her ngl
