It truly does feel like this is confirmation that "that" Gaga is gone. Simply because the 10 year anniversaries are times when they've rereleased the albums with covers (BTW) or a flash drive (TF). What was TFM again?

i mean i'm usually a pretty positive fan who defends her a lot on here and i didn't expect any new music but the merch being really subpar has triggered something in me that i am now just... mad

there's nothing collectible to remember 10 years of ARTPOP (hopefully the UO vinyl is pretty)... the fame had the USB reissue and BTW had a reissue with 5 extra covers

there's still a chance we get something cute tomorrow on the actual day but the lack of engagement from her and hype is just sad

i've always defended her drawing a line between herself and the fans but sometimes she needs to remember we are actually FANS who spend our hard earned money on her. it doesn't cost a lot to just speak to us every now and then, especially when it comes to celebrating something we as a fanbase dearly love...

I usually hate the argument of "We are the fans, you owe us your success" but I think when it comes to ARTPOP and how hard (esp. the last 3 years) we've rooted for it, bought and streamed it, did petitions etc. It just feels like a slap in the face to not even get a Statement or anything about it and instead just more things to buy. Why didn't her team re-issue the Vinyl with fun colors? Do Cassettes? Create a little online player where you can play with the Stems of the Songs? (since thats what her intent was making the Album). It doesn't have to be something huuge or crazy, but I wish her Team would put a lot more love and care into something that her fans are passionate about. How can anything feel authentic when we're only used to be marketed to?

i wasn't expecting anything and to be honest i'm still extremely upset and disappointed.

i wasn't ever expecting act ii. i think that style of music is something so alien to what she does now (we have to remember so much of ARTPOP was hip hop and rave inspired, something she hasn't even approached since the ARTPOP era) that she isn't in the right space creatively to finish what was very obviously a selection of unfinished, unpolished demos.

however to not even get a statement? not even a "ten years of the album that the fans have embraced so passionately" message, not even a message from gaga, just a poorly made merch drop? it feels a bit like a slap in the face. if she'd done this after acknowledging the album, it would've been a little meh still but a little more understandable. this feels more like "we know you love ARTPOP, so buy all this ARTPOP stuff" rather than an actual acknowledgement of the fans' love and support of what was a very vilified era.

i'd rather nothing happened at all than this.

I was thinking maybe there would  be an artist rework ep like born this way but I guess nothing happening is the most ARTPOP reverse warholian thing that could happen   at least we have the leaks, and I guess maybe the original music wasn’t up to par with what she wants to release. I just hope we get more electronic pop music from Gaga soon  a record produced by skrillex x madeon x blood pop and other interesting electronic music producers would be a dream.
