Wildest Dreams TV(released in September 2021) already had over 500m streams and This Love(May 2022)  over 150m before 1989 TV release so it isn't 1 billion in 48 hours

4th Time Around

This might be enough to push her to number 1 on Spotify in terms of monthly listeners. I respect her decision to re-record her albums and I think she has generally done a great job with it (especially Red TV) but 1989 TV feels like a miss, the album cover and re-recordings are inferior to the originals and the vault tracks are forgettable.

I loved the album cover and new photoshoot (not to say the original one wasn't amazing); it feels refreshing and suits the vibe.

However, I must say that I think that something's going up with her production/mixing lately, as both Speak Now and 1989 have felt rushed or poorly done in comparison to Fearless (for me, the best release so far) and Red (which also has some flaws). I don't know why she didn't care enough to fix it or if she's just not looking back because of her tight schedule? But I really think it's a pity because she's messing the songs up and if she wants this to be her new legacy, then the quality should be the same at least (if not better).

1989 feels weird because putting the quality issues aside, some songs have been changed for worse (in terms of vocals, filters, instrumentals, and so). Just a few were able to stand out (WD and TL included in this list).

Now, speaking from the vault, I think that the songs are ok but they don't scream 1989 at all. The only two songs I loved and think could fit were Slut and Say Don't Go, but I think that the production was probably changed or updated because it sounds like something from midnights (I love it but I think you can see what I mean).

I really hope Reputation get's hit by these effects as well, but let's see.
