That being said, he was the lesser of two evils like others have said. USA is much better off under Biden in practical terms than Trump although he has done very little to restore our international reputation as a laughing stock. All while not being able to fulfill certain campaign promises to the extent people would like such as: Student loan forgiveness and inflation. His administration has done some good things and I realize these are tough issues to address, but at the end of the day most people just focus on their daily lives. It has nothing to do with the other reasons being thrown around here. And not people mentioning Gaza as if the alternative that's gaining on Biden in polls isn't worse on this issue. If Biden is trying to contain the Israeli reaction, the alternative would literally join Israel in bombing the Palestinians. Biden's popularity issue has nothing to do with that. And if people are going to boycott democrats for it or whatever, well have fun with Trump then who'd be significantly worse on this issue. Both Biden and Senate democrats put extraordinary amounts of pressure on Manchin and Sienna to try and get good bills through. He is essentially a center-left politician and despite some progressive things he’s done is not himself a progressive. By very nature of being your standard factory made Democrat, he doesn’t do much to propel anything forward. The only reason he won is because he didn’t seem primed to move anything backwards. Biden out of a 1/3 of a milliard people also Biden is showing signs of dementia and he is basically only reading off scripts, and he says basically always what his team instructs him to say....and he has his reading cards with him, without them he'd be clueless.... they real president is the team behind Biden... Theres always gonna be ppl who dislike them because they dont fully align with their beliefs I think on a site like GGD which is disporportionally very left leaning, hes simply not progressive enough or push progressive agendas hard enough Right wingers obviously dislike him But id be willing to bet if you surveyed ONLY his base he caters to most (centrists and left-centrist) hed be quite popular still I think his lack of energy and sense of urgency also makes him perform slightly worse on the polls then he otherwise would Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Say what you want about our last two presidents but the modern day lower middle class has never suffered like they have under this administration. He’s also mentally unfit. The withdrawal from Afghanistan was disastrous and so was the scale of our financial response to the Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
