Is she saying they created molecular structures to mimic those two things? Or are those two things in the fragrance? It use to be a component to make perfume and made the fragrance more animalic. Most perfumes stopped using it though because there are concerns over how Ambergris is obtained and also it would make a perfume double the price Holy **** though is it rich CHOMP. That is actually a glandular sack about the size of a golf ball would be taken from the musk deer. That sack holds a liquid that is sprayed by the deer and used to attract a mate. When the deer died, the sack would be taken and dried to produce something called a "musk pod." Once that was broken open, you'd find the fragrant musk grain, which would then turn into powder and be soaked in alcohol, producing the scent we would refer to as "musk." Also, musk scent can also produced from other animals, such as cats with musk civet, or from whale called ambergris like other user mentioned.
