Blackout19 11,323
What are your unpopular opinions about the album Joanne? Mine: - is one of the most underrated albums ever made - the album cover is great - Diamond Heart should have been a single - Hey Girl is Gaga's most underrated song It takes a smart brunette to play a dumb blonde. bpmMonkey 5,347
Just Another Day is a bop and the closest Gaga has come to Red&Blue era since pre TF
Hyperobject 66,771
million reasons is a great song, people hate it mostly because it was promoted more than any other "pop bop" on the album imo
RAMROD 107,608
Joanne should have stayed, they way Gaga suggested.
Starmie25 17,421
* The marketing was a tad odd, but the actual meaning behind that album and specifically title track was quite raw and not something many artists tackle these days. Generational (family trauma) is a real thing. It can echo on and on throughout the ages. * Some of these songs sound way better live mainly the uptempo ones. * Angel Down outro is hauntingly beautiful * Perfect Illusion deserved a remix EP. * Dancin In Circles is a major banger and is a sound I hope Gaga explores again (middle Eastern inspired beats)
Easy 5,293
And I just rewatched Five Foot Two just 30 minutes ago. I have to say Joanne is her most important album. Probably not in terms of creativity, it’s more like the impact. She made Joanne trying to heal her family and it was this more organic music that made my parents appreciate her. It was released around the period that I came out to them and to my very religious dad, it wasn’t easy for him. This album created conversations in our family. To look back, this era also shed light on the very polarised political climate back then. Joanne also contributed to her commercial success coz this album healed her image with the GP and made her acting and touring possible after ARTPOP. Easy 5,293
And Joanne World Tour has the best stage of her career.

InTheCloset 18,690
Million Reasons is one of the best Gaga songs of all time. I fell in love the moment i heard it. You cant hide who you are 11:
Lucas 25,780
Both the album and album cover are very underrated It's a nice breath of fresh air in her discography and adds a nice touch of versatility to it She was very delusional when she compared Uptown Funk and A-YO I might get hate for this but calling herself Joanne during the era was really weird When she was holding her head strangely in interviews I think she was acting, she never did it before the Joanne era and she never did it after
Bronco 9,162
I'd prefer the album if the sound mastering was better. Everything feels constrained by the production and it'd just be so much better if the rock vibes of it were allowed freedom
Maxine Puth 9,053
The work tapes (Million Reasons and Angel Down) are better than the actual final versions, and I think tracks like Diamond Heart, Joanne, and Sinners Prayer would’ve benefited with more stripped back / less polished production as well. Ultimecia 6,049
My main issue with Joanne as an era is the fact that she tried to push a "regular era" out of what should have been treated as something different, à la C2C. Putting together a pop world tour with this material and vibe just did not work at all. As an album, it's good but bland. It lacks flavor, and its production is muddled, it does not "pop." Just Another Day is a masterpiece though, it is so full of life and character. Time. It will not wait, no matter how hard you hold on...
crazygato 499
It should have been an EP with 7-8 tracks only. 1. DH 2. AYo 3. Joanne 4. John Wayne 5. Dancin In Circles 6. Perfect Illusion 7. Million Reasons 8. Just Another Day
