If she were she'd have no trouble getting more traction than certain others of her peers: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=Lady Gaga,Taylor Swift&hl=da And she'd have outsold Thriller, The Beatles and had more #1s than Rihanna along with a larger first week than Adele's 25. If she were the biggest popstar ever she'd peak more than Gaga as well. This narrative is just dumb and specifically with the box office of this film considering other artists from the past did NOT release concert films into theaters at this scale because no one thought of it.
