Meh, over hyped per usual but so glad she got to work with Legends again. The way they advertised it sounded like she at least had a verse.

She has a verse. She sings the whole second verse in the shortened version.

Thanks! I actually saw that review after I posted earlier. I had a feeling the critics would love it. The song itself is well constructed, the musicianship is off the charts and it has some fantastic lyrics.

Then there's that last two minutes with Stevie killing the keys, Gaga soaring vocally, and the Stones jamming their hearts out. It's just everything a rock collab is supposed to be.

Yep. I think it's great, and the fact that they're producing something as strong as that at their age makes me want to cheer.

I wish I loved classic rock, this song would have been my favorite but I kinda hate this type of big, arena rock songs. It doesn't makes feel anything, literally anything. I am so happy for Gaga, she delivered the vocals amazingly but I'm wishing her not to release classic rock/arena rock album otherwise I won't be able to listen.

Judas Society

Every time she manages to make me surprised with the kind of sounds she can make with her voice. Always glad that I picked her as an artist to support and follow. She continues to amaze me even after 15 years.

Y’all no joke Im visiting family, and it’s somewhat sub rural, and it just started gently raining, so I went outside on the back porch to listen in the soft rain and it was so beautiful BUT THEN I heard a sound and a FREAKING BABY DEER COMES OUT OF THE WOODS AND STARES UP AT THE PORCH WHILE I PLAY THE SONG and we just chill and listen to the WHOLE thing and the second it ends the baby deer turns around, runs away, and disappears

mother did this! Sweet sounds of heaven for sure, Gaga is Mother Nature, deer whisperer, CONFIRMED. 🦌

Listen in headphones or some high quality speakers.  The bass tone is creamy and the tonality of the both voices is ethereal. Stevie Wonder does a wonderful job on keys. Even if Gaga does backing vocals, the song wouldn’t be the same without her. The chord progression gives hopefulness. Her vocals simulate the breaking of the clouds as you ascend into heaven. I love it. Imma listen to this as the solar eclipse happens on October 14 😎

Yeah this is not arena rock at all...more like old fashioned rock n roll and soul.

Upon first listen I was kinda disappointed because she just kinda echoed Jagger (the background vocals thought was true). Then I heard the edited version where she has a few lines to herself which made me appreciate it more. It’s a grower, and I love that we have both versions. I’m happy we have this, and the build up is worth the wait for the outro. It’s a great Rolling Stones song, but it’s hard to justify it as a “Rolling Stones and Gaga” song. Her vocals are amazing though.
