I feel for them tbh. 

They’ve got themselves tangled up in a mess. Yes, he deserved to go to jail as is justice for his victims, but I don’t judge them for caring for a lifelong friend.

A member of my family is currently serving time for a slightly less serious crime that’s changed our lives. I also am a close relative of the victim. It’s a difficult situation to be in and not as much of a “I’ll cut them out of my life” as you’d imagine. 

I can see why they want to give a character reference, even if I personally don’t agree with it. It was ultimately for the court to decide and to give the most just verdict, not the limited opinion of social media.

Im sure they know, as its public knowledge by now that scientology does this! Its also a written policy in scientology to harass ex members and victims.

Ashton's a scumbag, but he didn't murder that girl even if it looks suspect if you don't know anything about the case. It was all over the local news in 2021 (it took 20 years to prosecute the killer). Basically, he was a serial killer and one of the women fought him off and escaped. There was DNA at that crime scene, and they connected it to Ashley Ellerin's murder (Ashton's ex).

No I know he didn't do it. But I think there's a possibility that he saw the body and didn't call the police to not get involved because he was about to take over hollywood.
