Do we know what makes them approve a project or not during the strike ?

Is it about standing publicly with SAG even while working or something like that? 🤔🤔

It’s not a gaga project without the world going on lockdown, or whole Hollywood shutting down :vegas:

I think it’s about being under contracts prior the strikes. Contracts are superseding the strike, but no new contracts to create work can be made Z

By this logic then TCB Film could be okay because all of that was filmed well before these strikes even came about and if there were contracts in effect well before then maybe the delay is tied to something else.

They're protesting the AMPTP specifically. They've been approving indie, non-AMPTP productions that meet their guidelines in order to show the AMPTP that everything they're asking for is achievable. :green:

Battle 4 Ur Life

TCB is being directed by Ruth Hogben. lmao. I’m joking. she’s actually really good.

seriously tho, if Gaga was editing it that means it obviously already has a contract for the release. it’s not like she’s making it to show to her friends and family. and she even announced it before the strike had started if I’m not mistaken. either way the contract was most like made before. I hope. fingers crossed.

I knew we would meltdown today.

Films that deliver on fair compensation usually always get greenlit. Several indie studios are still up & running, working with SAG-AFTRA union workers because they pay WAY more to the wortkers than major studios.

SAG-AFTRA interim agreements are granted to productions and studios that are paying the crews, actors, writers, etc on each production what the unions are asking for. I'm sure Taylor applied for one and can easily afford one. When will Bob Iger?
