Cool album but I think it’s being overhyped. Padam and Tension are nice songs and there’s some others out there but idk, maybe with a couple more listens. I still jam to Magic and Miss A Thing from Disco and they sound incredible but I feel like I’m gonna get tired of Tension’s sound in months. 

I like Kylie but maybe not the biggest fan of her voice. I know for sure if this were a Madonna or Cher album I’d be listening to it non stop.

I almost look at Impossible Princess as something unique outside of her discography. 
 

with that said, this is my fave Kylie album since X

Such an uninspired record, random tracks, so so melodies, Padam Padam remains the highlight of the album. Not her best work. I agree with Pitchfork. 7.3

I tried to compile a Tension Tour setlist. God, this poor woman, this is impossible  I can get it down to 25, but not without feeling like there are another 5 I should be putting back in. Talk about a tension headache... 

Will nobody think of our veteran pop icons, laden down with banger after banger? Can the world's arenas extend their curfews slightly? Can we get Ms Minogue some steroids for the stamina? Can we entice Carly Rae to cover some of the lesser known Kylie hits as an opening act?

I am a big fan of Kylie since I rediscovered her with Disco. Didn't have much expectations from Tension since the album announcement was so random. As I remember well she said there's no main subject just some random fun songs and I definetely hear it. I feel like this is random mix of unreleased/ refreshed songs. Sounds like some 2009-2012 Calvin Harris, David Guetta songs. Too much chaos, too much instrumentals and her voice is very tiring for me. Padam padam seems the highlight of the album. I think it's a good pop album but nothing special for me I just don't feel it. Anyway finger crossed for success(sorry for Disco not being so popular).
