It’s a course correction from the lead single underperforming after being hyped as a new direction and sound. Of course the single that sounds in the same vein as her last hits will be a top 10. Hopefully Demons is more like this.

Poor Lover era each time a single was fighting for number 1, it was a country song(s) blocking 

calm down and me were blocked from the top spot by old town road and now cruel summer’s blocked by this top 3 AND Kacey Musgraves next week (btw star-crossed is AMAZING and the VISUALS were even better)
