you know those scenes in movies and tv shows where the singer is really nervous about performing their first big show and chokes up so their vocals are like mumbley and quiet. coyote ugly, victorious, etc. you know how it goes.

anyway, that's what her version of nobtr sounds like. it's like that performance would happen for 45 seconds, people boo & heckle her, and then she stops, rallies, and comes back with Gaga's rendition as the place goes wild

Wasn’t the name changed on NOBTR in the ARTPOP Leaks? And that’s the first time she was credited as a writer.

Could be that she actually re-wrote the verse(s). That’s actually common practice in the industry. The demo gets shopped around and the verses are rewritten for/by the artists.
