I only see two successful artists. Both can fill stadiums so they must be doing it right.

Two completely different artists, audiences and moments :toofunny: Imagine if someone was trying to shade Gaga's dance moves by playing a clip of her on Jazz and Piano vs someone doing a dance brake

could mean anything

I mean it's undeniable that Beyoncé devours Taylor when it comes to performance (and everything else let's be real)

Soft, soothing, and succulent

For vocals and performance, yes. But Taylor is a better songwriter, makes better music and interacts with fans better.

King of the Fall

As someone who has seen both Beyonce and Taylor on the current tours, both of them put on fantastic shows. That being said, when it comes to stage presence, Beyonce eats Taylor alive, she might be the best live performer since Prince.

Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long

Have seen both as well and totally agree. Renaissance was one another level, rivaling Gaga for me.

That being said, Eras is more about the lyrics, stories, nostalgia, etc. Just two completely different shows!

These comparisons are so dumb. Both are completely different performers and both are great in their own right. I've seen both and honestly I can't say one show is better than the other. Bey has the vocals and performance skills, but Taylor had the polish and pacing down. Those are the only ways I could compare them. They're otherwise incomparable, as they set out to do two different things beyond just being entertaining.

I've always found these comparisons really pointless. They're totally different, like yes Beyoncé might have the moves, the voice, the songs and the production but Taylor has dumb fans that will eat anything up. Each have their strenghts.

Taylor being a great songwriter is such a joke like... are we reading the same lyrics and hearing the same melodies and production? Cause her writing sounds like a 15yo writing 'poems' after class :air:

Fan interaction doesn't make for a better artist but sure I'll give her that

I mean…you can feel how you feel but if we’re going off of reviews, correct me if I’m wrong, but Taylor has yet to have the run of critical music acclaim Beyoncé had from self titled through now (good reviews just not like seismic like the last few have been for Bey). Even the gift got really nice critical review (just not commercial juggernaut status like hoped).

again correct me if I’m wrong I could be, but I can’t think of someone in the main pop game really making critically acclaimed stuff like Beyoncé last few have been.

I’ll admit she had some really great songs when she was in the country pop game but her turn to straight pop isn’t really my cup of tea. She knows how to write a good song, I’d never deny her that much, but girl I need her back in country music stat. Idk the pop stuff has weaker writing generally imo or could be stuff sang by anyone. I feel like good artistry is like oh you OWN that ish you’re doing. Gaga got it down, Bey got it down. Hell, even Katy Perry had it down but maybe a little too much bc it boxed her in when she wanted to do something else lol
