What do we know about the “original” LG6?

Since there’s nothing really new to talk about, I wanted to revisit this era of speculation during 2017 regarding her record after Joanne. I remember this was before BloodPop actually became the main producer, and she was working with DJWS. There was also talk of her bringing new music on tour, and during the canceled Las Vegas Dive Bar. This was the era of the iconic blonde/golden curly wig. What are other things we remember regarding music during this time / era?

Completely forgot about this. I think it was overshadowed by the dark pop OG L5 but I’m not completely sure. Wasn’t it supposed to be a slower paced ballad album similar to what Gaga did for chromatica at first but bloodpop did bloodpop things and then made it dancey?

No. She was working with DJWS very briefly before she started working with bloodpop in November/December of 2017. It’s difficult to pinpoint specific dates because she was also simultaneously juggling multiple projects, but we know she started working on her next solo album around that time. Then DJWS posted about ARTPOP’s little sister, then there was silence and spiraling on his end, and then he revealed sometime in early 2018 that he was no longer involved. Then her sessions with bloodpop really started to kick off mid-2018.

The music was always going to be dance-influenced.

There is no original LG6. She was working on A Star Is Born soundtrack around that time, and Chromatica was started in 2017 and finished by 2019. There is an original LG5 with songs produced by RedOne.

Wasn’t there also 7 RedOne songs in this?

That was for Joanne. She worked on 8 songs with RedOne and ended up using Angel Down (work tape) which she took to Mark Ronson and they worked on that + the rest of Joanne.

Chaos Angel?

Chaos Angel was never related to an album: at the time she was working on LG5/Joanne but it was confirmed to be just a nickname she used with her friends or smth

yes there is, gaga talked about it on gaga radio. she made music, played it for bloodpop on her birthday, he said it's not really her or something, she cried and made chromatica instead.

not sure if that album was the "ARTPOP's little sister", or not

but DJWS said this in 2021:

"You stoked fan interest back in 2017 when, between albums, you said you couldn't wait for fans to meet "ARTPOP's little sister." Were those the Chromatica demos?

No, it wasn't the Chromatica demos. We worked on some stuff. We start stuff, we finish stuff, we put stuff away, we pick stuff back up, it's not a linear process. We stated working on stuff before Chromaticahappened and we didn't finish it yet. We'll see what happens!"

That "yet" is interesting.

And yet, despite a producer confirming this, fans and fake insiders claim to know their exact plans and how an album recording works lol
