Is Jazz and Piano struggling to sell tickets?

As someone else said, it's Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing. Some of the $91-150 dollars tickets are now going for $400+. The prices will drop dramatically the closer the dates get, so it's going to be easier for people in Nevada or California to grab tickets as a last minute trip isn't a big deal from those areas.

Also, it's not uncommon for Vegas shows (outside of like Adele) to sell at the last minute. Sometimes, people buy tickets while they are already in the area. Lastly, Jazz & Piano simply doesn't have as much demand as Gaga's regular show or even stuff like Katy or especially Adele.

I think it's a combo of expensive tickets, a trip to Vegas and not a lot of people being too crazy about Gaga singing jazz instead of her pop hits

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Yep. The "standard" priced tickets in the back section are going for $300+ once you factor in taxes and fees. The prices are too exorbitant for a lot of fans. Who wants to pay that much to be so far away, but if you want to be close, you're looking at a thousand bucks or more after fees.

I've heard that buying tickets directly from the theatre while in Vegas ends up being way cheaper. I know someone who got a front row ticket for original face value that way during her last segment of the residency.

In short, Ticketmaster is a greedy bastard.

They will sell but the announcement this close to the start was certainly a choice when 99% of the audience has to plan an entire trip to go there

Yeah, it was an odd choice. I feel like a lot of people are going to be from Nevada and California who buy last minute tickets once the pricing goes down (stupid dynamic pricing on Ticketmaster). It's pretty easy to do a last minute trip (be it flying or driving) if you are in L.A. or San Diego. Even San Francisco isn't that bad, although it's a far longer drive than it is from San Diego or L.A.

Plus, some probably won't be hardcore fans....I imagine some will just buy last minute tickets, once the pricing goes down, if they're already staying at the MGM as people who work there will shill for Gaga and other acts.

*If anyone on here is from L.A.., a quick tip is that Spirit from Burbank to Vegas is super easy and cheap (plus you get to avoid LAX). I used to do it fairly frequently as I have a really good friend who lives in Vegas. A round trip ticket can be as little as $60 after taxes if you do that airline/route, and you can use credit card points so it can be even cheaper (I think I once paid like $10).

It 100% is cheaper if you buy directly from the theater the day of or the day before. My friend lives in Vegas and knows people who did that for Gaga and other acts (and she's done it herself).

I'll probably wait and purchase tickets online, but I might take the risk and just go there anyway & buy directly from the box office. My friend loves visitors (she always wants people to come stay with her). At worst, I'm out $60 and whatever I spend on taxis/food (I always buy my friend dinner when I visit) if I fly out instead of driving.

*it's kind of sad, but apparently it's hard to make friends in Vegas as people often work odd hours if they work at the casinos.

Perfect Celebrity

This is how the last leg was too, don’t worry it will sell out closer to the day. People will plan their trips to Vegas and see what shows they can pick from, and this will be an attractive option

This is what I’m doing,

bought my one way ticket through Jetblue since they’re $49-$69 to Las Vegas for Oct. 5

Let’s also not forget that she’s been doing this show since 2019.  I think a lot of people may have already gone When it was the Enigma + Jazz combo, she had just one jazz show a week.  I think it has nothing to do with Gaga, more about how many people want to go to a jazz show.
