i mean, one name after lizzo is lauren hill, who made a whole song about gay/trans/drag saying

"We're living in a joke time, metaphorical coke time
Commerce and girl men
Run the whole world men"

"Greedy men and pride fiends
Program TV screens
Quick scam and drag queens
Real life's been blasphemed"

"Men and women as parody
Superficial the vanity
Borderline the insanity
Out of order humanity"

so it's not like beyonce cares anyways lol

wow cancelled

I think we should wait with cancelling anyone. There have been many misleading headlines about Lizzo

Lizzo didn't fat-shame anyone or ask about weight gain

Spoiler

• Lizzo and her choreographer during a private meeting asked one of the dancers "why she is less bubbly and vivacious than she did prior to the tour starting"
this dancer had the impression that she needed to explain her weight gain because she believed that nothing else had changed.  she revealed that she struggles with anxiety and depression and has been diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder.
Lizzo and choreographer offered her time off of rehearsals to attend therapy but she declined.
• Lizzo never said that she had gained weight or fat-shamed her

Dancers were not forced to go out with Lizzo

Spoiler

• they could decline the invitation
• dancers who sue Lizzo claim that it was this “unspoken thing in the camp that if you weren’t super fun if you skipped out on all of the outings you wouldn’t be seen in good favor by Lizzo”
According to them, the favored dancers could be hired for more shows, invited on private jets and to do cool things and could hang out with her in tropical settings like Hawaii
but there is nothing about any dancer being fired because she declined an invitation

Amsterdam/ Lizzo did not force anyone to eat bananas

Spoiler

• after show one of the dancers on behalf of Lizzo asked which dancers wanted to go on the town
• those dancers who sue Lizzo were celebrating someone's birthday when they accepted the invitation, and said they only found out later that Lizzo was taking them to the Red-Light District/Bananenbar
• they "expressed misgivings" but were told it was too late to back out because the list of participants has already been sent to Lizzo

Bananenbar
• according to the lawsuit, Lizzo invited people to eat bananas and other things, but none of the dancers mention anything about being forced to do so
• Lizzo invited dancers to touch performer's breasts, when it was the turn of one of those dancers who sues Lizzo, Lizzo said her name 3 times, then the rest started chanting her name and this dancer felt pressured to do it.

France - Lizzo invited them to Crazy Horse (it was after Amsterdam, if they weren't sure what this place was they should probably google it before accepting the invitation)

Spoiler

• Lizzo invited the dancers to Crazy Horse but they claim Lizzo  failed to mention it was a nude cabaret bar.
• They said performance was artful but Lizzo robbed them of the choice not to participate by not mentioning about nudity.

False imprisonment - security wanted to check the phone of one of the dancers after she recorded Lizzo

Spoiler

• One of the dancers recorded a meeting with Lizzo without permission on April 27.
• According to her, she did this because she wanted a copy of the notes Lizzo had given them about their performance
•  But somehow, a week later, information about the recording reached Lizzo
•  Lizzo told the dancers that she knows someone recorded her
•  The dancer who sues her admitted to do it
•  She was fired and was demanded to allow security to search her phone.
•  According to her, she was told she was not allowed to leave until her phone had been searched.

Economy

I mean, it would be a little early to already be changing tour singing plans and formats for an emerging story that is still fuzzy on the details

A lot of these just sound like the people suing need to a) grow the eff up, and/or b) stop being afraid of being seen as “uncool”
