NASA Scientists Accidentally Sever Connection To Voyager 2

Someone misprogrammed a command and accidentally moved the antenna by 2 degrees making it unable to receive earth signals and because it can't receive earth signals, they also cannot manually fix it, so voyager 2 is now travelling in the dark with no connection

 

However, to the brilliance of the 1970s scientists that put the voyagers together, Voyager 2 is programmed to automatically realign it's antenna back to standard every few months in the event something like this were to occur

 

As such, on October 15th when the next automatic realignment occuers, Earth should be able to re-establish contact
