Many rock artists have simple and boxed stages even in stadiums and maybe Gaga wanted to rely on this rock-ish vibe for the show. The fact that Chromatica needed something else is a different thing, but I do understand the design to a certain degree She herself explained that the reason for using boxed stage design was to prevent the lighting and visuals from being affected by the sun but to be honest, looking at the videos I watched, I can see that the stage is still affected by sunlight even though it is boxed. ( And I know that they are not able to close every stadium's roof because not every stadium has retractable roof but still as I said boxed stage also didn't help with the visibility of lights and films neither.) Overall it was an amazing tour for me, I hope she goes for something more bigger and extravagant for the next time.

I had to watch the screens the entire rest of the show to see her and she only used the catwalk I was touching two times! Once out to do free woman and then back to the main stage. I paid a lot of money and honestly would have just spent way less and sat in the lower balcony if I had known it was going to be that bad. Whoever built the stage had ZERO perspective from the fans in the audience. I was at the inner side and I got to see her back (FW) and her rushing backstage (after Enigma) i just wished she looked at us once NO DUCT TAPE - NO MISSON

The way it goes inside and you get partial views from even the slighest angle frustrates me. Absolutely agree. I barely had an angle and if it weren’t for the videos online of the concert, I wouldn’t have known what I was missing from the obstruction. It should’ve been like a curved tv, or at least a box-like set up but with the sides on an opening angle. Unless u were in direct view of the center, your view was obstructed. Was ridiculous. GypsyVida 5,933
I went to the Hershey show and I feel so lucky. If I was at any other stadium my view would've been very blocked even though I was in the front-most left side section. I could see her during Bad Romance and the entire rest of the show, but only because the stage was set back so far. Hersheypark Stadium is set up with two long grandstands going far back, but so seats on either short side of the field. This is why they set the stage so far back. I originally had very similar tickets for MetLife and I'm so glad I sold those and got the other ones when she announced the Hershey show. currently streaming Zombieboy
Joshie S 6,079
Suddenly everyone loves the artRAVE stage where you could literally see through it to see her dance The melody that you choose can rescue you ♥
Fzz 434
Bad Bunny's tour is a great example of what a boxed stage should look like. It literally has the same light strobes on the side screens as TCB but the view is so much better because the screens are recessed inwards into the stage.
