I mean, if you were out already. But I'm 26 and I'm not even out yet, let alone at 12/13, when i didn't even know i was gay. A high school may have made just a bit more sense but middle school? You don't even know what you like. Who even thought about this?

I knew I was gay at the age of 7. Just because you didn't know doesn't mean other lgbtqia+ kids won't know their gender and/or sexual identity by middle school.

You can't hide who you are, 11:59.

Wow… some of the comments and reactions in here. How does this school, which operates in the city that I live, hurt some of you?

Some of you should really redirect some of this energy back into your lives. Cause obviously something’s wrong.

I literally had a girlfriend at 17. You really don't know until you're in the middle of puberty and sometimds even later.

You can't generalize any one persons sexual orientation discovery based on your own experiences.

idk the right procedures to do so but i think we need to stop right here

You just report the thread and ask for it to be reviewed or closed. Thanks :kara:

For the record, I'm really happy this is a thing. Like many of us, I also grew up in super gay unfriendly environments (and I still live in Florida where it gets worse every day). This gives me hope that some day, queer kids won't suffer the way we had to.

Whimsical bitch
