Sure, she could've given an update about it, but I don't think her not acknowledging it = it being canceled or shelved. I don't know how TCB film works within the confines of the SAG strike and everything going on with that, so maybe there's more to it.

Because she’s part of SAG AFTRA, and in solidarity she cant, and shouldnt, release any project related to streaming services. 
 

the CBT film itself is not the problem as its not a pre-conceived project with actors and a script. However, since the fight is against all streaming platforms like Netflix, HBO, Apple, Disney, etc. she cant release it under them. Likewise, she cant post or promote it under any association with these streaming platforms
 

I think the only way around the strike is if she releases physical copies of the tour film or releases it on theatre. Essentially drop any partnership with whomever she was going to release it with

The way I understood it is that she couldn’t *promote* the film, not that she couldn’t talk about it at all.

talking about it… is promoting it. just cause it’s not an interview or red carpet moment or appearance on a show…. any acknowledgement of a project to be released is …. promo.

Right this could be a tactic to build hype around it and imagine this being a surprise drop just completely unexpected or anticipated and we’re all taken by surprised.
